Jean Greco, BS, RN,
LNC
As a nurse with over 26 years of clinical nursing experience, most of it
in an operating room setting dealing with adult and pediatric patients,
Jean Greco understands medical terms, concepts, records and hospital
procedures. She also has experience in orthopedic and medical-surgical
nursing. She knows the critical importance of an accurate and timely
assessment of a patient’s condition, because that assessment can and
often does provide the basis for further care and treatment of the
patient. The same is true when reviewing medical records in a litigated
case. Early and accurate assessment has a major impact on further
handling of the litigation—and on its ultimate outcome. Jean
currently serves as the treasurer of the Chicago Chapter of the American
Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
Daniel Extrom,
Esq.
As a lawyer with over 27 years of litigation experience, primarily in
bodily injury cases, Dan Extrom knows the litigation process and the
claims handling process. He understands what information claims handlers
and attorneys need to know to evaluate cases and to put cases into
position so they are ready for serious and meaningful settlement
negotiations, or for trial, mediation or arbitration. During his career,
he has deposed hundreds of physicians and health care providers. Dan
enjoys working with medical issues in cases and understands the critical
importance of early, thorough and informed medical discovery. Dan is a
member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar
Association. |
